CPD East: Penn State vs Ohio State

The Nittany Lions won a match they had to have against the Buckeyes in order to keep within striking distance of undefeated Army and Navy. Penn State seemingly had the match all wrapped up at halftime, but the men in blue and white (mostly white) let OSU come back within 5 points. Penn State's defense rose to the occasion and stopped Ohio State's final, desperate drive.

I would just like to say to whoever makes these videos is doin an awesome job. I am supremely impressed that someone finally had the forethought to make highlight videos of every game, in the same general format. The CPD is a great venue for this, as most of these colleges have the money and resources to be able to afford a camera. I think this is a huge first step in legitamizing rugby in America. Thank you, thank you, thank you

Thank you for the kind words! We thought it was by time this existed as well. We also think this kind of thing is crucial to developing a fan base for leagues like the CPD. How many HS players are turning out for these matches in their area? How many of them are wearing college team t-shirts, buying concessions, and hoping their favorite player does something sweet? We need that. We need it for the CPD. We need it for the RSL and the ACRL as well. We need it for all domestic leagues that are doing things right.

Sites like RugbyMag have been carrying the ball for quite a long time now, and we are proud to be able to help the small US rugby media drive interest online.

PLEASE spread the word to all rugby fans you know. It will be the fans who make this thing work, and build the rugby community that is needed to run past sports like lacrosse. All we do is cut up the footage and post it online.
